The financial industry has been ready for the passage of the implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act.
That's according to the vice president of the American Chamber of Commerce Mitchell De Silva.
Speaking on The Morning Brew program, De Silva expressed disappointment that there now seems to be a rush to become FACTA compliant.
He also warned of the consequences if the legislation is not passed in time.
