Dominica asks OAS to waive fees during hurricane rebuilding efforts, T&T objects

A visibly tense and awkward moment at the last meeting of the Organisation of American States, as this country was the only member to object to Dominica's appeal for leniency.

In light of its efforts and the cost attached to rebuilding the island, Dominica asked that its OAS fees for two years be waived and while all other member states agreed, this country's position is that Dominica should still pay.
