Former Chief of Defence Staff Major General Kenrick Maharaj is calling the report released by the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force ‘erroneous’.

According to the report, it was Major General Maharaj, “acting on his own volition”, who authorised Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi’s children to use the shooting range at Camp Cumuto where they were eventually photographed holding what appeared to be high-powered weapons.

Informed sourced tell CNC3 that written administrative instructions concerning the AG and his security detail were issued for this matter and that all administrative instructions go to the Chief of Defense Staff who has knowledge of same.
