Two members forced to leave during heated budget debate

In wrapping up the budget debate in the lower house today, the finance minister accused the opposition of bringing spurious allegations to the chamber.

He says this is to distract from the fact that they cannot find reasonable fault with the fiscal measures announced by the government.

Minister Imbert says this is a budget of a caring government.
