A video of a shark attacking and eating another unknown sea-dweller close to the shore in Tobago, is making waves on social media.
The video is being shared via What's App and Facebook, although the origin of it is not as yet entirely clear.
Those sharing the video say it was shot at Grange Bay, Tobago.

The person doing the filming captures the shark as it chases towards its victim.
The video ends with the shark circling what appears to be blood in the water.
The person filming and others on a platform over-looking the beach can be heard screaming and expressing that they had intentions of going into the water.
From their comments, that plan is unlikely to be fulfilled.
While shark sightings are not uncommon in waters around Tobago, it's rare that one is captured on film so close to shore.
