The meeting was held on Wednesday, at the Radisson Hotel, Port of Spain.

In his address to the gathering, Commissioner Griffith assured the group that he would work to assist them as they carried out their various important roles and functions.

Commissioner Griffith also said he was aware that as representatives of foreign countries, they would be contacted by their respective Governments and called upon to account and provide information in the event of natural and man-made disasters.

The CoP assured members of the Corps that they would have access to information on matters of serious concern regarding the citizens they represent.

The members of the Corps thanked the Commissioner for his assistance, as they noted that access to real-time information has been a major concern to them in the past.
