Three young men held since Friday with the rape, robbery and sodomy of two 20-year-old women, appeared on another round of identification parades in Marabella on Tuesday.
The suspects aged 22, 24 and 27 have been in custody since 3 am on Friday after police arrested them at their homes in Diamond Village, San Fernando.
Police said the investigation will be completed today and senior officers will make a recommendation for them to be charged with two counts of rape and robbery.
On Friday, police led by Sgt Clint Williams and including Cpl Narine Bisnath, PC's Morris and Sheldon Gosine acted on a tip-off and arrested the suspects.
They spent the weekend in jail being quizzed separately.
One of the suspects is a businessman while the others work as a labourer and mechanic.
The 22-year-old suspect has pending matters at the San Fernando High Court for robbery-related offences.
Investigators said the two women aged 20 of South Oropouche and Siparia have been given counselling.
It is believed a close friend of theirs had input in their abduction and subsequent assault.
The friends said they went partying at Club La Vega in San Fernando on December 30.
Around 3.15 am, they tried to get transportation to go to Fyzabad.
While waiting, the four men pulled up and a gunman ordered them into the car.
They were taken to some bushes off the M2 Ring Road, where they were sexually assaulted before being dropped off in Penal.
Police have since advised women to desist from travelling alone or from entering unknown private vehicles.
The suspects are expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate on Wednesday.
PC Gosine is continuing investigations.
