Good Friday was marred for the family of Quincy Alleyne.
The resident of Queen Street in Port of Spain was shot and killed around one o' clock this afternoon.
Police reports indicate that the thirty-two-year-old was at the corner of Independence Square and Nelson street, plying a private car for hire. He was said to be standing outside of the car when a man came out of another vehicle and shot Quincy several times and took his gold chain.
Alleyne was taken to hospital by emergency health services; he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Quincy is the older brother of Keshawn Alleyne who was stabbed to death during carnival celebrations in 2015.
