Motorists are being told to brace for gas shortage, this as the OWTU signals its intention to serve a strike notice to Petrotrin.
Union president Ancel Roget made the disclosure during a media briefing a short while ago.
Roget said the strike notice would be served to the state-owned company on Wednesday. Last week, Petrotrin and the OWTU failed to settle negotiations for the period 2014-2017.
The union had since signaled its intention for strike action.
The OWTU is asking for an 18-per cent salary increase.
