Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has met with top BPTT officials where they discusses, among other things, the state of the economy.
A statement by the Office of the Prime Minister says both parties remain committed to working together on the challenges facing the energy sector.
The following is the statement from the Office of the Prime Minister:
"Prime Minister, Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley, received a courtesy call today (January 27th) from Regional President of BPTT, Mr Norman Christie and BPTT’s Vice-President Corporate Operations, Ms Giselle Thompson, at the Office of the Prime Minister, St Clair.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and the BPTT officials discussed matters of common interest in light of falling global oil and gas prices. Both parties remain committed to working towards mutually beneficial solutions to the current challenges being faced by the energy sector."
