Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley will leave the country on Sunday for a state visit to Chile, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young announced today.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister Young, Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Dennis Moses, Minister of Energy and Energy Resources Franklin Khan and Minister of Trade and Industry Camille Robinson-Regis.
Chile is the largest importer of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) from Trinidad and Tobago and energy discussions will be top of the agenda.
The both governments will also sign an agreement of intellectual property.
The prime minister and his team will return to Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday 31st May.
