The Guard and Emergency Branch of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, has been praised by the Principal of the El Socorro South Government Primary School, after sprucing up the facility.
Over the recently concluded Easter Vacation, several members of GEB spearheaded a beautification and maintenance drive at the school. From Monday 9th to Saturday 14th April, 2018, the officers organised the painting and general cleaning of the school compound and classrooms, in preparation for the opening of the new school term.
It was therefore a pleasant and welcomed surprise for students of the school, when they returned to their classes on Monday 16th April, 2018, to a newly cleaned and painted compound.
Principal Alicia Chandool commended and thanked the officers for agreeing to adopt the school.
As part of its ongoing support, GEB has committed to assisting the school with its extra-curricular activities programme.
Among the GEB officers who participated in the initiative, were Insp. (Ag.) Ian Elcock, PC Michael Louison, PC Earl Steeple and PC Michael Marcano.
