Parents of students of the Santa Rita RC Primary school staged a fiery protest this morning after their calls to remove a school bully went unanswered.
The enraged parents blocked access roads to the school's compound one day after the 9-year old Standard Two student returned to the school.
Interim president of the PTA Savitri Persad says that parents opted to keep their children away from classes today after the boy allegedly continued terrorising students upon his return on Monday.
Persad says parents remain resolute in their position to have the bully removed and is reiterating their call for the education minister to intervene.
Responding to a protest one ago by the parents of the school, Education Minister Anthony Garcia stated he would not be visiting the school as he cannot be expected to “out every fire".
