One revolver and a quantity of ammunition are discovered during an anti-crime exercise conducted by officers of the Southern Division, in the Victoria Village district.
The exercise led by Cpl. Barry Bacchus, of the San Fernando Criminal Investigations Department (CID), also included a party of officers attached to the Southern Division Task Force.
According to police reports during the exercise, officers proceeded to an empty lot of land at Prince Albert Street, Cipero Road, Victoria Village, where they carried out a search around 6:20 pm, on Wednesday 22nd August, 22nd.
The search resulted in officers discovering one Smith and Wesson revolver and three rounds of .38mm ammunition, wrapped in a plastic bag.
