Service restored in St Ann's

Service has been restored to residents of St Anns and environs after two H-type poles fell this afternoon opposite to Queens Hall.

Corporate Communications Manager of T&TEC, Annabelle Brasnell tells CNC3 News there was minimal disruption to customers as they were able to isolate that section of the feeder.

Workmen are currently at the site and repairs continue. The entrance to Queens Hall has been opened to allow the passage of vehicles heading into Cascade while only low-vehicles proceeding out of the area are being allowed to pass along the road.

Trucks are being diverted into Queen's Hall to get to the other side.

This continues to cause severe traffic.

CNC3 News understands the road may be closed off sometime tonight to facilitate proper repairs.
