Less than 24 hours after the Police Service revealed that Nissan Tiida vehicles are the number one type of cars stolen by bandits, three Tiidas were stolen from the business place of the head of T&T Automotive Dealers Association.
Business owner and President the Association Visham Babwah said, around 1 o'clock this morning he was alerted to a burglary at his foreign-used car dealership in Central Trinidad.
Upon investigating he discovered the three Nissan Tiidas were missing. However, police were able to recover one a short distance away.
Then at around 7:30 this morning, Babwah was informed by the police that the two other vehicles were found in the Laventille area.
Babwah says he believes there is an organized car-jacking ring which is causing havoc in this country.
