Trinidad and Tobago's sprinters have failed to qualify for the 100 metres semi-final which takes place on Sunday evening.
Rondel Sorrillo, Keston Bledman and Richard Thompson all ran in the heats Saturday morning and none placed either first or second to guarantee automatic qualification.
Sorrillo committed a grave error as he slowed near the end of Heat 2 and fell into 3rd place in a time of 10.23.
Keston Bledman clocked 10.20 to place 5th in Heat 5.
He was closest to qualifying as one of the fastest losers.
However, Cejhae Greene of Antigua and Barbuda who also clocked 10.20 but placed 4th in the same heat as Bledman, grabbed the last qualifying spot.
Richard Thompson who placed 2nd behind Usain Bolt in the Beijing Olympics, ran alongside Bolt in Heat 7th but finished 6th without a chance of qualifying.
Semoy Hackett and Michelle-Lee Ahye will run in the women's 100 metres semi-final tonight.
