Two persons were arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized by officers of the San Fernando Criminal Investigations Department, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Pleasantville district, early yesterday morning.
During the exercise, officers executed a search warrant at the Pleasantville Terrace home of a 23-year-old suspect, around 4:45 am on Thursday.
The search resulted in a gift bag containing 2.3 kilogrammes of marijuana being discovered in a room of the house.
The drug has an estimated street value of $23,000.
The suspect and another man, a 29-year-old, of the same address, who were found in the house at the time of the exercise, were arrested in connection with the find. Investigations are ongoing.
