The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that there will be a disruption in their water supply on Wednesday between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm.
WASA says this is to facilitate pipeline interconnection works at the raw water station of the plant.
The affected areas will include:
* Princes Town New Grant
* Malgretoute Barrackpore
* Williamsville Borde Narve
* Buen Intento St. Mary’s
* Manahambre Marabella
* Rio Claro Gasparillo
* Diamond Village Golconda
* St. Joseph Village/Vistabella Ste. Madeline
WASA says it may take up to 12to 24 hours for the service to normalise to some affected areas following resumption of production at the facility.
It is advising customers to manage their water use efficiently over the period of the supply interruption.
