Worshippers at a church in South Trinidad were forced to scamper to safety after a gunman opened fire during a prayer service.
According to police reports, at around 7:30 pm on Monday, a man was seen walking down the Southern Main Road in Marabella, in the vicinity of Bay Road.
Upon reaching the Revival Fire of Trinidad and Tobago church, the man whipped out a gun and opened fire.
Eyewitnesses say the gunman ran off and made good his escape.
No motive has yet been determined for the shooting and no-one was injured in the incident.
