T&T swimmer Dylan Carter placed 4th in the Men's 50m Butterfly this morning at the FINA World Cup in Japan. Carter clocked a time of 22.66 seconds with Russia's Vladimir Morozov once again stealing the show and winning gold in a time of 22.29 seconds. Carter topped Heat 1 with the same time, which saw him qualify as the fastest swimmer.
Meanwhile, in the Men's 200m Freestyle, he finished down the field in eighth with a time of 1:48.42. Australian Kyle Chalmers won gold in that race, clocking 1:41.83. Carter topped Heat 1 with a time of 1:44.44 and qualified for the final in third.
