Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 22-year-old Ashley St Cyr.
Ashley, of Heights of Aripo, Arima, was last seen leaving her mother’s home at Old Road, Valencia around 8:00am on Friday 17th March, 2017.
She was reported missing to the Arima Police Station, on Saturday 18th March, 2017, by her mother, Aganie Gopie.
Ashley is of mixed descent, 4 feet 9 inches tall, medium built and has a brown complexion.
She was last seen wearing a white jersey and a pair of brown jeans.
A 22-year-old man of Block 22 Laventille and KP Lands Valencia appeared before an Arima Magistrate Court today charged with the murder of an elderly woman which occurred sometime between January 27th and 28th, 2017.
Cynthia Matthews, 72, who held dual citizenship to the United States and Trinidad and Tobago, was found dead at her home located at Circular Road, Arima, with multiple stab wounds about the body.
Malabar police are investigating a case in which a man was allegedly found partially exposed in a vehicle with a 6-year-old girl.
The incident is said to have happened in Arima this afternoon.

A teenager has been murdered, and her boyfriend is critical at the hospital after being shot as well.
Reports are 17-year-old Celine Thomas was found dead in some bushes off Calvary branch road today. H
er boyfriend, Calie Hamilton, was also found nearby with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital and is warded in critical condition.
The teen was a Servol student and was reported missing last night.
The motive for this crime is uncertain at this time
Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating a 38-year-old man, who went missing on Saturday 3rd December, 2016, a statement by the Police Service says.
Anand Maharaj was reported missing from his Chance Trace, Arima, home to the Arima Police Station by his common-law wife, Ria Ramsamooj, around 8:15 am on Monday 5th December, 2016.
Anand, a construction worker, left home at around 7:45 pm after informing his wife he was going out to ‘lime’.
Police are investigating the discovery of a body wrapped in a sheet in Arima.
Residents of Samaroo Village made the discovery at the side of the road around 9 am Monday.
Police have not yet been able to identify the body.
Officers of the Arima CID and the Homicide Division are continuing investigations and are asking anyone with information to contact 999, 555 or the nearest police station.
A Pinto Road, Arima teen has been arrested for the brazen armed robbery at a supermarket along the Eastern Main Road, Maturita Village, on Saturday night which left the guard dead and three injured.
Four unmasked bandits walked into Cantonese Superstore shortly after 8.15 pm and pretended to be customers just before closing time.
After walking through the store they approached the cashier and other workers and customers and whipped out guns.
Police said a mini-machine gun and pistols were used by the killers.
