The All Trinidad General Workers’ Trade Union (ATGWTU) and the National Solidarity Assembly (NSA) will stage a march in Port-of-Spain on Friday to highlight what they say are several issues of national importance.
The march, which the ATGWTU says will start at 10 am at the Queens Park Savannah, will end at the Office of the Prime Minister where they will deliver a letter outlining their concerns.
The union has outlined the issues contained in the letter as follows:
1. Outstanding lands and leases owed to the Ex-Caroni Workers;
Former president of the All Trinidad Sugar and General Workers Trade Union Rudy Indarsingh has broken his silence on the issue of the United National Congress having to vacate the Rienzi Complex.
Indarsingh, who is also the Couva South MP returned from a business trip abroad on Monday.
