An attorney-at-law representing former Clico Chairman, Lawrence Duprey has written to Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi, questioning the appropriateness of Minister Stuart Young being responsible for addressing all aspects of the Commission of Enquiry's report into Clico.
Attorney Lionel Michael Luckhoo points out that Young had appeared as counsel of Ernst and Young during Commission's hearings.
Opposition member of Parliament, Dr Suruj Rambachan says the statements by Attorney General Faris Al Rawi in relation to the Opposition's walkout of Parliament on Friday, is what he calls PNM contempt.
Dr Rambachan says it is "hollow and disrespectful" is the PNM's "disrespect" for the safety of citizens.
