Moses complains 'forcefully' to Jamaica's Foreign Minister about search on Minister Webster-Roy

Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Dennis Moses has written to Jamaica's Minister of Foerign Affairs Kamina Johnson Smith, complaining in a "forceful manner" about the search on Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Ayanna Webster-Roy, as she boarded a flight in Jamaica on Friday.

Minister Moses told the Parliament today that he also expressed his concern to the Jamaican High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago based in Port-of-Spain, and the T&T High Commissioner based in Kingston, Jamaica.

Jamaica's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has rejected claims that Jamaican immigration, customs or security personnel searched a Trinidadian Minister of Government at the Norman Manley International Airport on Friday, the Jamaica Gleaner reports.

According to the ministry, the search was undertaken by private security officers.
