Bandits take over $12,000 in cash and equipment from Biche Secondary School

Police are investigating the breaking-in and robbery at the Biche Secondary School.

Reports indicate that between 12.30 am and 4.30 am, two men armed with firearm entered the school and tied up both guards and beat them.

The thieves then broke into the principal's office and also into the school's vault and removed cash and personal belongings amounting to approximately $12,000.

They also stole two brush-cutters and other equipment before making good their escape.

Enquiries are continuing by Cpl Singh of the Biche Police Station.
