5 Boko Haram leaders released in exchange for 82 kidnapped girls

Eighty-two (82) Nigerian school girls were freed this weekend after more than three years in captivity, in exchange for five commanders of the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram.

Dozens of girls have escaped, since their kidnapping in 2014, telling their horror stories, of other girls dying, being married off, becoming pregnant and ill.

One hundred of the 300 kidnapped girls are still unaccounted for.
