TSTT is distancing itself from a rotting pole that fell on and damaged a car in Arima on Wednesday.
TSTT says it conducted a full review of the incident immediately upon receiving the report and notes that all of TSTT's poles of a similar age to the pole which fell, are clearly marked with TSTT labeling.
It says, however, that the pole which fell was unmarked in this regard.
TSTT adds that the pole in question had street lighting accessories and ceramic fittings attached to it, which are inconsistent with any poles which TSTT owns.

A video posted by am eyewitness shows the car split in half, with piece of it wrapped around the post while the over half rests a few metres away.
The details of the accident are not yet entirely clear but the persons filming the video says the driver is alive.

An accident along the Priority Bus Route in Arouca has left occupants of an ambulance and a private vehicle injured.
The accident occurred around 1.30 this afternoon at the corner of Bacalay Road and the bus route in Bon Air.
The force of the impact left the ambulance on it side and knocked the vehicle off the road.
Several emergency personnel responded and rushed in the injured to the Arima District Hospital.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
Police are currently on the scene where a burnt body has been discovered in a car in Carapichaima.
The body was discovered by a farmer along a trace off the Exchange Connector Road this morning.
The area is largely agricultural land.
The body was discovered in a white vehicle that was entirely gutted.
Police were unable to say whether it is a male or female.
