A prisoner who escaped from the Carrera Island Prison, Reynold James has been recaptured.
Police say James was held in Windy Hill, Five Rivers, Arouca at a house where he once resided.
James, formerly of Windy Hill, Five Rivers, Arouca, escaped from the prison around 5 pm on Monday 18th January. He was serving time for a series of robberies.
Two other prisoners who escaped from the same prison on Independence Day last year, Steve McGilvery, of Sea Lots, and Leroy Mohammed, of Gasparillo, remain at large.
Police are still searching for a prisoner who escaped from the Carrera ISland Prison last evening.
The escapee has been identified as Reynold James, also known as 'Vall Celestine Charles'.
He was discovered missing Sunday night and it is believed that he escaped between 6 pm and 7 pm Sunday.
He was serving a sentence of 10 years for a series of robberies, larceny and house breaking in the Windy Hill, Arouca district.
