WASA disruptions due to earthquake

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers and members of the public that its administrative services have been disrupted today – Wednesday 22nd August 2018, as a result of the seismic activity impacting the country.

WASA says it is currently in the process of assessing the structural integrity of several of its offices and other facilities.

As such, it says the Customer Call Centre toll free numbers: 800-4420/26, along with its Customer Service Centres will remain closed today – Wednesday 22nd August, 2018.

Water disruptions in North West Trinidad next week

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers served by the Valsayn A and B Booster Stations that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Wednesday 19th April 2017 between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm.

WASA says this has become necessary in order to undertake planned maintenance works at the facility.

Affected areas will include:

* Along the Eastern Main Road from St. Joseph to San Juan

* Champs Fleurs

* Petit Bourg

Water disruptions in Arima on Friday

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of Arima, served by the Guanapo Water Treatment Plant that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Friday 7th April 2017, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

WASA says this has become necessary in order to facilitate planned maintenance work at the Plant. 

Areas that would be affected include:

* Pinto Road
* Calvary Hill
* The Town of Arima (Areas north of Broadway)
* Bypass Road
* Maturita
* Demerara Road
* Guanapo Road
* La Retreate Road

Water disruptions in South Trinidad on Wednesday

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that there will be a disruption in their water supply on Wednesday between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm.

WASA says this is to facilitate pipeline interconnection works at the raw water station of the plant.

The affected areas will include:

* Princes Town New Grant

* Malgretoute Barrackpore

* Williamsville Borde Narve

* Buen Intento St. Mary’s

* Manahambre Marabella

* Rio Claro Gasparillo

Water disruptions for Santa Cruz, San Juan, Champ Fleurs and surrounding areas

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers served by the Valsayn A and B Booster Stations that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Wednesday 28th September 2016 between the hours of 8 am and 12 midnight.

WASA says this has become necessary in order to facilitate planned maintenance works required to improve operations at this facility.

A statement from the authority says the affected areas will include:

* Along the Eastern Main Road from St. Joseph to San Juan

* Champs Fleurs

* Petit Bourg

Water disruptions from Golden Grove to Sangre Grande on Tuesday

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of North East Trinidad, served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Tuesday 6th September 2016 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight.

The Authority says his has become necessary in order to facilitate electrical upgrade works at the plant.

The affected areas will include:

* Sangre Grande (Town)

* Vega De Oropouche

* Toco Road, Sangre Grande

* Sangre Chiquito

Water disruptions across several northern communities on Saturday

Several communities in North Trinidad along the East-West Corridor, will be affected by an interruption in water supply for 12 hours on Saturday.

The Water and Sewerage Authority has issued the following statement:

"Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers served by the Valsayn Water Works that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Saturday 4th June 2016 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
