A 60-year-old Cocorite man is scheduled to appear in the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court Friday charged with the possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking after he was allegedly caught on the inter-island ferry with the drugs.
According to police reports, around 8 pm on Thursday W/Sgt George and other members of the Tobago Task Force and the Scarborough CID received information on the possible transportation of narcotics on the inter-island ferry.
The parents of Krystiana Sankar will try again today to get her out of jail after her attorney, Larry Williams, successfully filed an application to have the terms of her bail adjusted.
