A woman yesterday appeared in the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of another woman.
Keeda Adarhar appeared before First Court Magistrate Joanne O’Connor charged with the recent murder of grandmother Pamela Balgobin, of Walcott Lane, Enterprise
Adarhar, 29, of African Ground, Enterprise, was remanded in custody and will reappear on December 12.
Balgobin’s nude body was found in a vacant lot near her Enterprise home on November 12. Her head had been bashed in and her throat slit.
Police are investigating the murder of a 39-year-old woman following an attempted robbery on Walcott Lane in Enterprise this morning.
Police say Pamela Balgobin was walking near her home when she was approached by a man who attempted to rob her.
Balgobin resisted and struggled with the man when he attacked her.
Police believe she was hit several times on her head with an object.
She died at the scene.
The suspect is now in police custody.
Police are investigation a murder in Enterprise in which a man is suspected of killing his brother.
The murder is said to have occurred around 2:30 pm and police are still on the scene.
Reports indicate that the two men were involved in an argument following which the assailant is said to have fatally stabbed his brother.
The victim died on the scene.
One man was shot dead and two others injured in Enterprise last night.
The dead man has been identified as 25-year-old Adam Boney of Enterprise, Chaguanas.
Residents reported hearing several loud gunshots just after 10 pm.
When police arrived they found Boney lying on the ground suffering from several gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
Two other men, 26-year-old Kendall Trim of Floral Terrace, Enterprise and 21-year-old Odingo Smith of Longdenville Old Road, Longdenville, were also shot.
