Un­hap­py with the po­lice re­sponse, Nera Ba­jan, 47, lament­ed, "The po­lice not do­ing enough to help us at all. I want the po­lice to step in. Please, some­body in­ves­ti­gate the sus­pect, please peo­ple, please. This is the last straw...Our lives are next, this is what he said."

Police need help identifying body of 'Spanish' man found in Maraval

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the body of a man, which was discovered on Sunday at the corner of North Coast Road and Negmahwah Road, Maraval.

Police say the body was that of a man of Spanish descent in the mid-thirties with a brown complexion, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, stockily built, medium length black hair at the top with the sides and back shaved; and attired in a pink sleeveless T-shirt, with the words ‘PARAISO DEL SOL INSTRURA LA VIDA BUENA’ and fluorescent green short pants with a checkered pattern.

Another family appeals for help finding missing woman

Yet another family is pleading for the public's help in locating a missing woman.

The family of Susan Maynard has issued an appeal for anyone know of her whereabouts.

The family says she was last seen on Tuesday in Chaguanas, on the Caroni Savannah Road, between the hours of 1 and 2 pm.

Abused woman cries for help after failed suicide

A Central woman remains warded at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope, after she digested a poisonous substance in an attempt to take her own life due to the suffering she claims to have undergone at the hands of an abusive husband.

The woman, in a letter which was posted on social media by someone close to the situation over the weekend, is now pleading for assistance from the authorities, saying she does not know where to turn.

Circumstances behind City Gate incident evoke family's desperate plea for help

Three weeks ago a young father created a stir at City Gate as he sat on the roof of the transit hub, attracting the attention of the police and onlookers.

Video footage captured by post-work commuters showed police officers stealthily approaching the man from behind as a voice stood out above all others, saying "Alyuh hold him please. Please hold him."

The voice was that of the young man's mother begging for the police officers to save him from harming himself.
