A 22-year-old man has been shot and killed in San Fernando.
CNC3 News understands that around 7 this morning, Ezekiel Daniel was discovered by a relative at the back of Building B in Embacadere. He was nursing a gunshot wound to his head.
The police were contacted and Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene.
San Fernando CID and detectives from the Homicide Bureau are continuing investigations.

In two separate incidents, three men have escaped police custody. In the most recent incident, Scarborough police are searching for a man identified as Heston Lopez.
They say Lopez who is originally from Trinidad was under police guard at the Scarborough General Hospital, on Friday evening when he managed to evade officers and make his escape.
Meanwhile, officers of The Inter-Agency Task Force and Port of Spain Division are searching for two men who also escaped police custody last week.
The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) says it is monitoring recent incidents in which mentally-challenged persons were shot by police officers.
The PCA says it intends to audit the current investigations into these shootings.
The following is the PCA's statement on the matter:
"The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) is aware of several incidents involving fatal and nonfatal police related shootings involving mentally ill individuals Paul Marchan, Daniel Paul and Edison Thompson within the last four (4) months.
Soca artiste Rodney Le Blanc. also known as "Benjai', is demanding swift justice from Guyanese police, after he was assaulted in Guyana last month.
However, the police there want to know if Benjai had fallen out with his attackers in the past.
Benjai, through his attorneys, wrote to the Guyanese DPP and police commissioner saying that since the incident on April 17th, Benjai furnished the police with the identities of two men who allegedly assaulted him after a performance at a Guyanese nightclub.
Petrotrin has launched an investigation into a fire which occurred at Lease Operators Limited on Friday.
According to reports production manager Desmond Deokie told fire officers he heard one explosion, then he saw flames around several of the oil tanks on the compound he then heard several more explosions.
