A 25-year-old man has been shot and killed in Mayaro.
Reports indicate that around 8 pm on Sunday two armed men entered the home of Anthony Sunny, located at Stone Bridge Village.
An altercation ensued and one of the assailants reportedly shot the man before fleeing.
Residents upon hearing the loud explosions contact the police.
The man was taken to a health facility but succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
Police are seeking the urgent assistance of the public in locating 15-year-old Keilah Lemessey.
Keilah, was last seen at her Hing Wang Drive, Mayaro, home around 7:00 am on Tuesday 14th November, 2017.
She was reported missing to the Mayaro Police Station, around 10 am on Thursday 25th January, 2018, by her grandmother, Andrea Forgenie.
Keilah is of African descent, 5 feet 6 inches tall, slim-built with a light brown complexion and shoulder-length hair.
What appears to be parts of an aircraft have washed ashore on a beach in Mayaro Tuesday morning.
A family, which contacted CNC3 today, said the discovery was made while they stayed on a private beachfront property over the long weekend.
Family members told us that a small group among them noticed the pieces floating towards the shore around 6 am Tuesday.
An employee of the family, Davidson Stafford and his son later found the pieces along the shoreline.
One of the pieces had written on it, "CR 204 525 B".
The body of Dinesh Mahabir, who went missing while swimming in Guayaguayare on Sunday, was found this morning in Mayaro.
The Coast Guard says that around 11.20 this morning they received a call that a man's body washed ashore along a coastline in Mayaro called 'Animal Farm'.
Mahabir's body was positively identified soon after by his father.
This brings to an end a two-day search for the father of one.
On Sunday morning Mahabir and two other friends went for a swim at the beach near Frontin Road.
Education Minister is clearing the air on why a Mayaro Secondary School student who seen being beaten by other students in a viral video, was also suspended.
The Minister told reporters today that the child was suspended because she had brought a weapon to school on the day of the incident.

Widespread flooding in Radix Village, Mayaro today affecting 20 homes and a cemetery, after someone broke a dam in the area.
Thousands of gallons of water flooded the road and completely inundated the Radix cemetery as the Fire Services and the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) rushed into action.
