Sixty-five motorists have been issued fixed penalty notices for speeding by South Western Division (SWD) officers, in separate exercises, both yesterday and over the weekend, police said in a statement.
The most recent exercise, coordinated by Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Neville Adams, of the SWD, and supervised by Cpl. Mukesh Deonarine, of the Traffic and Highway Patrol Branch, was conducted between 9 am and 6 pm, on Tuesday 24th April, 2018, along the South Trunk Road Extension, in the Oropouche District, where the speed limit is 80 kilometers per hour (kph).
