Weeks after a woman was raped, her partially nude body was found tied to a pipe at an abandoned house.
44-year-old Farrow of Morne Rush, Williamsville was discovered in a partially decomposed state at a house about 50 metres from her home.
According to reports, the owner went to the house around 8.50 this morning and saw a body lying on the ground.
He immediately went to the Gasparillo police station and returned with a team of officers, who the mother of six, lying on her back at the side of the house.
Ravi Ramroop, 19, of Claxton Bay is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrates’ Court today, charged with attempted murder.
According to police reports, on September 3rd Ramroop is alleged to have stabbed two male relatives during an altercation at a bar along Hermitage Road, Union Village around 11:00 pm.
The victims were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for medical treatment, while the accused allegedly escaped on foot.
Ramroop was arrested by officers attached to the St. Margaret’s Police Station on September 18th following an investigation.

Mandela, a labourer, of Balandra Bay Road, Balandra, was at his home around 3:55pm with relatives, when three men, all armed with guns, entered the premises and fired several shots at the victim.
A 34-year-old man has been shot and killed in Carapichaima.
According to reports Jason Richards was standing in front of a parlour near Aberdeen Drive along Orange Field Road when two men jumped out of a nearby vehicle and opened fire.
Richards who was hit several times about the body died on the spot. The men escaped in another waiting vehicle, leaving the first one behind. Neighbours reported hearing 6 loud explosions.

An Arouca man, charged with the murder of 62-year-old Monica Ruiz, which occurred on Saturday 4th August, 2018, is due to appear before the Arima Magistrates’ Court, today.
Leon Logan, 30, a labourer of Five Rivers, Arouca, was charged following advice received from Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Tricia HudlinCooper, on Saturday.
Ruiz, of Sherwood Park, Arima, was last seen at her home around 5 pm on Friday 3rd August, 2018.
Her body, was discovered by relatives, bound and gagged, on Saturday 4th August, 2018.
A Chaguanas man, charged with the murder of 19-year-old Darrell Mansingh, has appeared before the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court, to answer to the charge.
Richard Ganese, also known as ‘Bhaggi’, 30, a labourer of Xavier Street, Chaguanas, appeared before Magistrate Christine Charles in the Chaguanas 1st Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The matter was adjourned to Friday 5th October, 2018.
Mansingh, a welder of Chase Village, Chaguanas, was last seen liming at a bar in Felicity, Chaguanas, around 10:30pm on Friday 4th August, 2017.

Kester D’abreo, 31, a labourer of Malabar, Arima, was charged with the offence, following advice received from the acting Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Angelica Teelucksingh, on Sunday 9th September, 2018.
St Clair, 27, was at her Beach Road, Palo Seco home around 11:50 pm with her five-year-old son on Monday 3rd September, when she was attacked by a man known to her.
