Ninety-five police recruits today passed another major milestone in their journey to become members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
The recruits took the ‘Oath of Office and Secrecy’, at a swearing ceremony at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Academy Gymnasium, St. James, Port-of-Spain.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Stephen Williams, who delivered the feature address at the ceremony told the recruits that they must always keep in mind that the public has certain expectations of police officers and the level of service they are trained to deliver.
The Trinidad and TobagoCoast Guard is warning of false advertising, inviting people to join the Coast Guard.
A statement from the Coast Guard denies that it circulated any such correspondence.
"With reference to the current email circulating the Internet inviting members of the public between the ages 18-24 years to be recruited for the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard. Please be advised of the following;
1. The Coast Guard has NOT released ANY EMAIL.
