By virtue of having qualified for the Hexagonal Round of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Russia 2018, T&T along with Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, and the United States have earned the right to be seeded directly into League A, and therefore will not participate in Nations League Qualifying.

T&T Express back in service tomorrow, T&T Spirit by March 13th

The Port Authority says repairs to the T&T Express have been completed, and the vessel will resume its sailings as follows:

From Port-of-Spain:

Thursday 8th March - 2 pm
Friday 9th March - 2 pm

From Tobago:

Friday 9th March - 6.30 am

However, the Port Authority says the T&T Spirit is continuing its maintenance programme and is expected to resume operations by March 13th.

Flooding affecting supply of water to northern Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in North, Central and South Trinidad served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing low water pressures or in some cases no water that, this is due to reduced production at the plant, caused by flooding at the facility following torrential rainfall on Sunday.

WASA says it is currently engaged in carrying out remedial works, which are scheduled to be completed by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 6, 2018.

MY EYE: Residents fix road on their own

Darien said it shows residents fixing part of the Penal Rock Road on their own, using their own tools, equipment and material to do so.

This comes amid several protests over the condition of the roads in several parts of the country.
