Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Dennis Pulchan, presided over the promotion of fifteen Officers

Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Dennis Pulchan, presided over the promotion of fifteen Officers from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Prisons to that of Superintendent of Prisons. He says that their elevation was long overdue and urged them to be positive influences and maintain good work ethics. Details follow in this press release.

Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Dennis Pulchan, today presided over the promotion of fifteen (15) Officers in the First Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service.

The brief promotion ceremony took place at the Prisons Sports Club, Arouca.

Five officers promoted from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Prisons to that of Superintendent of Prisons include Mr Elvin Scanterbury, Mr. Patrick King, Mr. Joseph Nelson, Mr. David Prince and Mr. Wedd Eastman.

Ten Prisons Supervisors, inclusive of three females, were elevated to the rank of Assistant Superintendents of Prisons which include Mr. Jude Gordon, Mr. Sheldon Thomas, Mr. Lee Davis, Mr. Christopher Vidale, Mr. Sean Bacchus, Mr. Anwar Hoosaney, Mr. Noel Philip, Ms. Gilian Morris-Aqui, Ms. Lourdes Olbino- Jacob and Ms. Beverly Mitchell.

Commissioner Pulchan congratulated the officers and stated their elevation was long overdue and well deserved. He reminded them that with the higher rank, came greater responsibility. He urged that they be positive influences and foster good work ethics among staff. He also encouraged them to be fair, equal and just in their treatment of those under our charge.
