A TTPS stop and search exercise in the capital city today resulted in the arrest of one person for driving under the influence (DUI), and the issuing of 36 tickets for various offences.

According to a police report, 56 vehicles were stopped and searched in the incident-free exercise.

The exercise started at 10 am and ended at 12.30 pm on Wednesday 10 June 2020.

It was coordinated by Snr Supt Moore, Supt Ruben, ASP Sooker, Insp Superville and supervised by Sgt Bharath, Cpl Guerra, Ramjattan, Halls and other officers.
