4th Caribbean Airlines Boeing 737-8 arrives in T&T

The aircraft, bearing registration 9Y-BAR and operating at BW7378, arrived at the Piarco International Airport just before 10 pm on Thursday February 24th.

Caribbean Airlines has added yet another brand-new aircraft to its fleet. The local carrier took delivery of its fourth Boeing 737-8 jet last night from the Boeing plant in Seattle, Washington.

The aircraft, bearing registration 9Y-BAR and operating at BW7378, arrived at the Piarco International Airport just before 10 pm on Thursday February 24th. 9Y-BAR will undergo testing before beginning revenue operations.

Meanwhile, CAL’s third Boeing 737-8 entered commercial service today after undergoing several weeks of testing in preparedness for entry into service. 9Y-ANT is operating the POS-GEO-JFK and JFK-GEO-POS sectors today. 

The first Caribbean Airlines 737-8 landed in T&T on November 17th, 2021. Four other aircraft remain at Boeing’s Everett plant: 9Y-SUR, 9Y-JAM, 9Y-GRN, and 9Y-BAH
