A 62-year-old man is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate today, charged with one count of indecent assault against a 16-year-old girl.
The accused, a 62-year-old watchman, of Caratal Road, Gasparillo, was charged with the offence after being arrested on August 13th.
According to police reports, the victim told police that on that same date, the accused offered a lift from Forres Park, Claxton Bay, to her home.
She said, while en route, he offered to buy her alcohol and made sexual advances toward her.
A report was made to the police and the man was arrested and subsequently charged by WPC Hamilton.
