The number of people currently identified with COVID-19 at present has crossed 500.
The figure jumped up to 534 with the announcement of 36 new cases this afternoon.
The total count for T&T now stands at 686.

Number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), the UWI and other local sites for testing for COVID-19 | 17,342 |
Number of samples which have tested positive at public and private facilities in Trinidad and Tobago | 686 |
Total number of active cases | 534 |
Number of deaths | 12 |
Number of persons discharged | 140 |
The Ministry of Health provides the following update:
· Thirty-six (36) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
o Thirty-three (33) persons tested positive – Trinidad
o Three (3) persons tested positive – Tobago
All established protocols have been implemented.
