Angostura Holdings Limited has responded to the call by Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly to assist students who are without devices, with a donation of 55 laptops to 18 schools.
Angostura was supported by another corporate sponsor, Memory Bank Computers which donated laptop bags for each device.
The laptops were handed over to some of the principals by Angostura’s Chief Executive Officer (Ag.), Ian Forbes at a ceremony held at Education Towers St. Vincent Street, Port of Spain. on Thursday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Gadsby-Dolly said she is heartened by the support of Angostura and other contributors thus far, in aiding our students during this difficult time as they transition to remote learning. She added, the Ministry’s Adopt-A-School Project has been beneficial to numerous students across Trinidad and Tobago as the Ministry continues to collaborate with stakeholders.
