Arima man charged with murder although body still missing

A 35-year-old Arima man is expected to answer to the charge of murder, when he appears in a virtual hearing before the Arima Magistrates’ Court on Monday 25th January 2021.

A 35-year-old Arima man is expected to answer to the charge of murder, when he appears in a virtual hearing before the Arima Magistrates’ Court on Monday 25th January 2021.

The Police Service has confirmed that KEVON MATAMORO (aka ‘Preacher’) of Pinto Road, Arima, was charged with murder on Saturday 23rd January 2021, following the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.

The 35-year-old accused was charged with the murder of 46-year-old FRANCIS DE FOUR (aka ‘Brain’) who was last seen on Monday 7th December 2020.  De Four was reported missing on Friday 11th December 2020, to the Pinto Police Post.

De Four’s body was never found.

KEVON MATAMORO is scheduled to appear in a virtual hearing at the Arima Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 25th January 2021, to answer to the charge.
