An Arima man is expected to appear virtually before an Arima Magistrate today, charged with the murder of his neighbour, Adolphus David, which occurred on September 3rd.
Wayne Baptiste, 64, of Olton Trace Extension, Arima, was charged with the offence following advice received by Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on September 9th.
According to police reports, David, 55, also of Olton Road, Arima, reportedly got into an altercation with the suspect on September 3rd, during which he was strangled to death.
Baptiste was arrested in Arima by officers of the Northern Division on that same date in connection with the incident. Baptiste was charged by PC Ramdial of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 2, on September 9th.
