The cause of a fire that destroyed a dwelling place in Barataria yesterday is yet to be determined.However, luckily there were no reports of deaths or injuries.According to a T&T Fire Service report, at about 2.57 pm fire officers received a call that a house at 11th Street and 5th Avenue was on fire.Fire appliances responded within minutes and were able to contain and extinguish it.Fire Prevention Officers are expected to return to the scene today to carry out investigations.
