A Belmont man was arrested by officers for possession of 487 grammes of marijuana for trafficking within 500 meters of a school. The man was arrested during an anti-crime exercise in Port of Spain.
According to police reports during the exercise, officers also found one revolver and five rounds of ammunition in an abandoned vehicle in Morvant.
Investigations are ongoing. The exercise was coordinated by W/ACP Beverly Rodriguez and spearheaded by Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Terrence Nobee, Supt. Ramnarine, ASP Cumberbatch and supervised by Insp. Knott and Sgt. Alexander.
