Belmont without water, WASA fixing problem

The Water and Sewerage Authority is assuring residents in parts of Belmont and environs currently without a water supply that emergency repair works on the Picton #2 Booster have been delayed temporarily.

The Water and Sewerage Authority is assuring residents in parts of Belmont and environs currently without a water supply that emergency repair works on the Picton #2 Booster have been delayed temporarily.

However, WASA says those mechanical repairs at the facility should be completed by 6:00 pm today, Sunday 18th October 2020.

Customers are reminded though, it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.

Affected areas include:

Upper Picton Road, Upper Prizgar Lands, Richardson Lane, Quarry Street, St. John Street, Laventille Road, Upper St. Francois Valley Road, Upper Belmont Valley Road, Layan Hill, China Town, Durant Street, McKai Road, Belle Eau Road, Regent Street, Gonzales, and Upper St. Barbs.
